Our philosophy is simple and in no way is it a new concept.
We, as recording technicians, are not here to tell you how your music should sound or even express an opinion about your music. In this day and age with the continual upward trend of home recording atheists, nobody has to deal with ‘know it all’ self professed ‘professional types’; who make you nervous to express yourself or your likes or dislikes, when you can easily just stay at home and record comfortably. Things will probably come out way better in the end that way, even if your equipment only consists of one mic and an 80's boombox , at least you did things your way. We put ourselves in place to get the best sound we can under your guidance. I’m in no way a ‘professional’, and given the wide scope in the ever changing world of recording arts and recording technology, you’d have to be an egomaniac to claim to be anything but a student.
What we hope to offer is a change of scenery, freedom of expression, a homely comfortable atmosphere and complete flexibility in terms of facility prices. We’re not looking to get rich here . We use mainly analog technology because the technique is more fun for us and doesn’t have any drawbacks. The sound of analog is the sound of the history of recording, to which most of us aspire. With digital, it is common to try to emulate the sound of analog. With analog, it's there automatically. In our opinion it can add to the overall quality and charm of certain frequencies. In an effort to tip our hats to the modern world we also offer protools services.
